About us
Patton Veterinary Clinic, formerly known as Renegar Animal Hospital, was taken over by Dr. Jesse Patton in June of 2019. Dr. Patton, Dr. Steve Walker, and our team provide a wide variety of medical and surgical services for small and large animals.
We take walk-ins, we do surgery five days a week, and we see everything from cattle and horses to dogs, cats, and chickens.

Dr. Jesse Patton, DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Oklahoma State University, 2019. Jesse bought this practice in June 2019 and is one of the last large-animal veterinarians in Pittsburg County. He’s the veterinarian at the McAlester stockyards every Tuesday.
Licensed in Oklahoma since 2019.
Dr. Steve Walker, DVM
Oklahoma State University. Dr. Walker has been licensed in Oklahoma since 1974, which makes him the most experienced veterinarian practicing in this county. He keeps his own clientele and has seen just about everything.
He’s here Tuesdays and Fridays, and he and Dr. Patton alternate weekends.
